Wow, I'm sorry to hear some of you are having a problem with the EBAY nerf bars. I got mine last week and installed them in my driveway in about 1/2 hour.

I installed the bolts loose then tightened them as I aligned the bars where I wanted them.

ya im still not done installing mine. I'm missing a lot of hardware. Still, for the price i got these bars for, it was worth buying off ebay and just spending a few extra dollars in hardware and a trip or two to home depot. Overall id say it went well, i haven't installed the actual bars yet, ill finish it today, but i hope i don't have to bend them like many are stating to have done.

EBAY seller: intrigued (rating 27263 97.6% positive)

Price: $144.95 + $40 shipping ( They were shipped very fast)

They are quality built and were easy to install. I will take a few pics and post them tomorrow.

Edit: all hardware was included with the set I bought and the brackets had longer bolts for the front than the rear.

Here are a few pics for you.

Even though the bars don't appear to be even, it's just the pictures. I went and double checked after I made this post. Wide angle does funny things.

The steps are rubberized plastic. The mounts are 1/4" steel. The steps are fixed and can't be adjusted.

The only thing I would do when I get time is to cut the mounts a little tighter where they fit the bars. They look a little sloppy and I have the tools to clean this up.

Overall they are pretty well made though. I guess I'm just a little picky with a two month old vehicle.

hi there, i just purchased some nerf bars off ebay for my toyota rav4 2007 from ebay user t.empire. Can you be so kind to email me some pictures of the nerf bars installation? The installation instructions shows the 1/2 X 1 1/2 hex head bolt (diagram, parts list O) should screw into the nerf bar (diagram, part list A) but it does not screw in at all or does not fit. Only the t bolt will screw in perfectly to the nerf bar. Please advise along with the pictures. thank you.

I installed mine a while ago now but I do remember there are metric and SAE threads on the different bolts. Looking at my pics above should help.

Front brackets:
1/2" bolt fits through outer part of bracket into the nerf bar.
Center part has the longer L-bracket/bolt with the large nut/washer/lockwasher. There is a spacer that goes on top of the bracket, wide side twords the body.
The inner side has the smaller bolt with the oval washer smaller nut, washer and lock washer.

Rear brackets:

1/2" bolt fits through outer part of bracket into the nerf bar.
Center par has the Shorter L-bracket/bolt with the large nut/washer/lockwasher.
