Same here, I just kept my 16" steel wheels off of my 02 Rav and have 215/70/16 Michelin Latitude Ice.

Yes my friend, I payed $80.00 CND but I should remind you that they did not sell me the caps!!!!!!!(as I said the caps will cost over $100.00 CND and I think the guy said $30.00 plus tax!)
I found those black steel rims cheaper! but I just wanted to get something that was designed for the RAV4. may be later on I'll get a good spray and Paint them in BLACK so it will be match with the RAV!! and leave the caps in chrome!!! lol !! we'll see!

I was in the same situation in Colorado. I found some 16 inch steelies with 45 offset, 5 x 114.3 and center bore 60.1mm off a toyota Camary. The avalon, solara and some lexus will also fit. Tire sizes are either 215/70/16 or 225/70/16. Check your local craigs list or call some tires shops as people replace their rims and the steelies can be cheap if bought now vs next fall. I paid $140 for the rims with radials that had 8 /32nds left. I will use the 205/55/16's that were on the rims for my subaru.

i have and 02 rav4 limited, looking to see if 17 inch wheels from a 08 or so 225/65/17 will fit with no problems
