Default Window wind deflectors

Is there a general consensus as to the best model/brand of wind deflectors?
I found these but not sure what else is out there and what I should be looking for. http://www.crutchfield.com/g_331150/...eflectors.html

Also, how do they install?

This is what I have on my Rav. There is also a video for the installation.

Those look nice and a lot easier to install than I imagined. Are you happy with them? I'm also debating on light or dark...I guess dark will help with blocking more sun glare. Any downfall to having the dark?

I got the Weathertech visors and chose the light tint. As you can see from the pictures, they're still plenty dark:

Yup I'm happy with them. The only negative thing that I experienced after installing them was that the auto-closing of my driver side windows sometimes is not working. Well it's ok, not much of a big deal to me, I guess in time it will work as my Rav gets old

The auto closing on my driver's side window didn't work either after installing the visors. After 24 hrs. it had settled in and was fine--the problem never reoccurred.

That's what I thought so at first but now it has been 3 months since installation and still sometimes it works sometimes it does not. I've removed and reinstalled it already and i've noticed it also has settled in but still the same problem. So i just ignored it and hoped that someday it will work fine.

Try re-installing the visor, THEN re-initialize the window by using this procedure from the owner's manual:

If the power window does not operate
automatically or the jam protection
function does not operate correctly, you
should normalize the power window.
To normalize the power window:
1. Push down the power window switch
and lower the windows fully.
2. Pull up the switch until the windows
close and hold the switch for a second.
Make sure that the window open and
close automatically. If the power windows
cannot be operated properly, have it
checked by your Toyota dealer.

Although they don't make it clear, this only applies to the driver's side window in N. American models.

Thanks, I will try this.
