Default Repair Work

I was wondering if anybody can tell how this damage can be fixed. I want a rough idea before I start talking to mechanics/body shops.

That's going to cost you at least 2500+ at a body shop.

File an accident report, and call your insurance agent? Find a good body shop. This is not something you can fix with a hammer and a tub of Bondo.

What did you have in mind?

It's not my car...well yet anyway. I was looking to purchase it at an auction and I've had it checked and reviewed the Carfax and nothing else is wrong with it. I just wanted to know how much I could be in for in terms of repair costs before I attempt to buy.

You are looking at rear bumper cover , rear door, rear bumper brace and attachment points. I had a minor accident that required a replacement bumper cover, bumper, and license plate oportion of the door replaced. That ran the other insurance coverage $1600.

Check the title. If it is salvaged, you'll have to get it cheaper that just the cost of fixing it. The chassis might be slighly damaged too although very unlikely.

You will need 4-wheel alignment. Suspension should be ok.

I am kind of curious as to what the starting price is set at?

If the repairs are truly cosmetic then you should be okay, you'll just need a good body place and a clone junked rav but if not then it may get costly.
