You will not need to drill any holes with the Toyota mud guards.

They are molded to fit the Rav4. Make sure to get the ones for the Rav without fender flares. TRD sparks seems to be a good source, $32

I bought the mudguards and installed them myself on my 2011 I recently bought used. Almost didn't get the deal done because I wanted the dealer to install them as part of the deal. We were $700 apart on price and the hangup was the mudguards. I knew it was a simple install but they still wouldn't budge so I finally removed it from the deal to get the price I wanted. Next day I ordered the mudguards off eBay for about $35. Took less than 30 minutes to install all 4. All the necessary holes are already on the RAV4. In some cases the hole isn't there but an indented dimple is there that provides an easy way to locate and start the screw. The rear mudguards require removing one existing screw and replacing it with a screw that comes with the kit. If you can use a screwdriver and socket, you will have no problem installing yourself. Once installed they really improve the look and will help protect the RAV4.

So you saved almost $700 by installing the mudguards yourself? Sweet deal! That was one of the first accessories I added--it completes the look and protects the sides of the RAV. Should have come standard.

I think the ones from the SC Toyota dealer were in the same price range. Got them and installed in about 30 minutes. 15-20 for first one, then easy on the rest. Fit great. Look good.
