Most likely but Dawn is usually preferred due to it's grease cutting abilities. Again, this is NOT a weekly regimen!!! It is only when you absolutely need/want a stripped paint surface. Starting over with a clean slate so to speak.

Also, note that it's not dawn dishwasher powder but dawn dish detergent liquid.

Good point, I hadn't noticed that.

Dawn shouldn't damage the clear, it helps to remove any oils and some weaker sealants from the paint. That way you start with as clean a surface as possible.

Well I ran smack into winter, that's my problem now. So I have not done the work. Planning on bringing down the microswirl with Meg's 205 and 105. Then the bonding agent mixed up with DG 105 and finishing up with aquawax 951. I did manage to get the rav washed and clay barred over Thanksgiving weekend. At least the Meg's detailing spray is providing some level of beading and protection until I can really approach this work. I'm seriously hoping that the annual January thaw materializes this year and that it coincides with weekend time.

Whenever it finally is...I will post photos.
