Courtesy Lights

Is there a way for me to change the courtesy lights on a 2008 Limited Rav4 to a different color instead of orange? And if there is, is it difficult to change the lights?

The dash lights maybe? I have the exact same vehicle and the courtesy/cabin lights are all white.

Yes, they are orange LED's. You should be able to change them to any color. Here are some threads on the subject:

I took out the light bulbs from both side and installed a rope of 12 bright white LED inside for better light output. Stick some aluminium foil tape (those you use for HVAC duct work) to use as a reflector. Spend only about Cdn$18.00 for the LED and half an hour of work.

Since the topic is already here. Mind if I ask how you removed the footwell lights? For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the LED bulb out.

I am still trying to figure that out because its circular. Also I was wondering what kind of LED lights we are supposed to use. I am figuring out what kind of LED lights I am supposed to use for my 2008 limited rav4 on the site:

This is the type that is used in the front "Dome" light housing. http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...specs%2FB8.htm

I used a whole 12inch string of LED. Lit it up pretty good at night. I used the white LED Strip.
