I started tracing the cable. It goes along the windshield/dash seam to the right. I can pick it up again behind the glove box. The problem I have is finding a way to get it out from the side of the dash where it seems to go.
It would seem the only way to remove the cable is rip out the dash. That's beyond my comfort/skill level, especially with the airbag (I don't like mucking with those things at all as I have no desire to have it repacked). Last edited by jc1240; 04-04-2012 at 03:18 PM. |

Hey JuneBug, did you have to disconnect the car battery when you did the swap between the radios or it was not necessary? Thanks

No, I did not disconnect the battery, just made sure the key was off. If I had been cutting and splicing wires though, I would have.
