Possible to replace stereo with OEM GPS/Navigation system? (2011 RAV4)

I have a 2011 RAV4 (Sport) with the regular stereo (ie. non-jbl, and non-gps/navigation).

I've seen the Chinese and replacement GPS headunits, but is it possible to buy the factory OEM unit and replace my stereo with it?

Does anybody have a part number? I can't find anything...

Yeah... I'd consider a third party replacement (ie. Chinese, etc) but none of them seem to support the factory Sirius antenna, etc.

That will be hard to find on Ebay but you have to check constantly.
Of course, for major $$$, your local dealer can find you one.
For only $4500, you can get one from here:
RECEIVER ASSY, NAVIGATION. NAVIGATION & FRONT MONITOR DISPLAY for TOYOTA (8612012C00)

This is nuts!

I think it will be cheaper to buy a Chinese unit and XM receiver and plug the receiver at the back

or may be a Corolla Unit along with a trim kit?

I don't know anyone who has done these.

Anybody have any other cheaper options for OEM/factory navigation?

I've purchased a Pioneer unit (AVH-P8400BH) and it was very dim in the sunlight and I'm wondering if the OEM unit might be set back a bit to shade it from the sun, etc.

Anyways - If anybody has a cheaper source for the factory unit please let me know!

I have heard lots of horror stories about the cost of map updates in OEM units. A friend had a Lexus and they charged him $400 for new maps ! I put a Kenwood into my Tacoma a few years ago, and you can get a much better unit for much less money today. Find a local car audio place and check them out.

At the time I bought my unit (3 years ago?) I could have paid an extra $100 or so for the adapter for the steering wheel buttons but I didn't do it. I listen to one FM channel most of the time, one AM channel occasionally and my Android device, via Bluetooth so I don't do much button pushing.

Mingy, what did you end up going with? I want to switch out my factory base stereo to a full nav/bluetooth model. Suggestions?
