Started just j\fine in 31 degrees (F), Don't know what kind of test was done. I have jumper cables and AAA, so I suppose I will wait a while.

The test is probably an AC conductance test. The computer can perform that quickly, and it gives a good result quickly.
After 5 years, it is cheap and easy to replace a battery when convenient to you rather than waiting until the battery needs immediate replacement. I suggest that you replace it at least the first time you need to use the jumper cables.
