Default Charcoal filter sub-assembly shield

I've managed to find the part number of the OEM charcoal filter sub-assembly shield that Toyota started putting on the '08 and up Rav4's to protect the fragile assembly. When I first heard about the issues people were having with that part (4 digit repair bills for a new canister), I checked my '07 and it doesn't have the aforementioned shield. Thanks to digitsdown for the references made in this thread: P0000 trouble code

Here's what I'll be ordering:
77641-0R020 Protector, Fuel Tank 1
90467-07201 Clip 1

In case anybody's lost as to what the heck I'm talking about, here's the excerpt from the TSB showing the shield:

If anybody has the complete T-SB-0098-09, I'd love to see it please.

And here's the parts diagram I found on a Russian site that shows it: (Ref. 77641A)

That big shield must have started in late 08. My early 08 only has a metal shield in front of the filter part, (where the #2 is) not the rest. That is a big improvement.

My build date is 07/08, which is pretty late in the run. I don't have that kind of shield, only a small metal one protecting the filter sub-assembly:

I managed to find a copy of the TSB, and a related TSB that was released almost a year later. I have them posted on one of my web pages:

Good find on that second TSB there junebug. My shield and clips shipped today. $58 is pretty cheap protection.

Mine has been having a bit of rough idle, I may take it in and complain using the TSB to get the shield installed. I'm out of the 3-36, but still have the emissions warranty. Good find Junebug!

I'm very interested in how this install goes for you. If it works out OK, I'll be ordering the same parts. Keep us posted!

Thanks!

Parts came in but I wasn't able to install the shield. There's an insert in the center of the shield that seems like it's designed to thread onto a stud but I can't find any such stud or even a place where a stud would go. I'm stumped.

Hmmm....maybe another part is needed like a mounting bracket or something? Is the shield made of metal or plastic? How about some pictures of the shield and this insert?
