AC light flashing, blowing warm air

Ugh... of course, just as the weather is getting warm I found my 2007 RAV4 with ~110K miles AC light flashing and AC not working. Just blows warm air.

Cabin filter repalced a few months back. Serpentine belt replaced a few months back as well along with the alternator and a pulley or 2 (shop trying to find the source of a squeal which ended up being the alternator).

AC definitely working fine since then, I've used it a few times in the past month or so.

I've seen a lot of posts about Camry's needing new AC relays, but unless I'm misisng something this is not a common problem with the RAV4.

Anyone have any suggestions on a quick fix like a fuse or relay, or am I destined for a trip to the shop?

Thanks!

Thanks

Just a follow up. I swapped every fuse in the fuse box that seemed to be related to AC function and the problem remains.

Also, when I idle and hit the AC button I can hear the engine idle "adjust" like it normally does, but as soon as the flashing starts the engine idle returns to its normal sound. So, almost like it's turning on then turning itself back off.

I appreciate any and all suggestions.

Thanks!

Take it to an A/C specialist and pay to have it sorted.

I had the same problem on mine 02 rav4, i had some work done to it in winter time and when the weather starts to warm up, the a/c light was flashing and blowing warm air. The problem was that the dealer forgot to snap one of the connector back together, it was just hanging there. There should be a connector
That plug into the a/c compressor, check that first.
