Arrow [4.3] 4WD Electro Magnetic Coupling simplified (YT Video)

4 Years with my 4WD Rav4 and I can't believe I've never seen this video (not saying that I didn't understand how the system worked).

Toyota 4WD Simplified - YouTube

The video repeats a lot of information many us 4wd owners already knew about torque distribution and ECU control, but its nice to hear more about the electromagnetic coupling.

It's especially informative for those seeking a simpler description of the Electro-Magnetic Coupling at our rear axle which provides us with basic "4WD" function on this FWD based Toyota crossover...

As an added bonus it provides a convenient side by side comparison of all 4x4 systems offered by Toyota (Circa 2010 USDM).

I've been (casually) reading up on Jeep 4x4 systems on the Jeep website, and I don't see why Toyota doesn't like sharing this kind of stuff on their own site!

There's an actual link to that site. I'm sure it probably still exists. I came across some time ago. If had time right now, Id hunt around for it. Know it exists.
