    Hi

I have read your Beams swap with much interest as I plan to do the same thing soon. I hope that I can seek advice from you since you have done this yourself. I hope you can guide me in this project as it will be invaluable to me. I have access to a half-cut Caldina with the 3S-GE with the harness untouched. I will have this done by a competent and experienced mechanic. May I ask what reference you used in order to match the proper wires? After reading your thread, I saw that you had issues with the absence of a fuel return and that you had just used the RAV4 fpr to solve your problem. Was this a simple operation to do? Another issue of interest is what difficulties did you have when you re-activated the diff lock? Sorry for asking so many questions but I hope that you will help me out. I am trying to avoid surprises in the swap and I'm sure you've seen them all. Since the swap, have you experienced any new problems that I should prepare for? Is the car still performing flawlessly? By the way, has your fuel consumption increased drastically as compared to the stock motor? Thank you in advance as I look forward to your help in any way. Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the defence! My, that came as shock. I only mentioned the pipe since I've been looking at airflow improvements for some months now and for one who seems to want to spend loads on the engine bay, I thought he'd say it was only temporary or something, not take it like I'd called mis mother or whatever.
The last bit about the comments on his YT clip was rather pointed at me too don't you think? I've never ever posted comments on YT, there's plenty of airheads can do that for me and it attracts all the wrong kind of people anyway, ones with too much time on their hands!

Tempted to respond but that'll only bring me down to his level so perhaps I'll let it slide. He'll get over himself (one day).

    P :)
