In my experience however, there was no option to enroll the valet key as a subkey. It was just magically recognized as a sub. Maybe they have a different RFID frequency range.
In any event, I now have four masters and one sub.

How many keys can you register with a 2012 Rav4? (kind with G stamped on the blade)
After a year, the dealer found my extra 2012 Rav4 keys and they're mailing them to me. They only gave me the one they could find when I bought it.
I had a locksmith try and fail to register two keys I purchased. He claimed to have erased all keys, but could only register one after that.
I then bought a techstream cable and registered the two keys I purchased myself.
So now two more keys are arriving in the mail, can I register them too? is there a maximum? If there is a max, will it delete the oldest key? I'd rather not get into that type of pickle.
Anyone register five keys total with a Toyota Rav4?

|noresults||Thanks rav4.32010. I got it out but in two pieces. It was in there good. I guess I will have to see if anyone sells the rfid chip and then get the techstream. Anyone buy just the chip?|

|noresults||I purchased one of the flip keys for my 2006 RAV4 and transferred the guts to the new flip key. Works the door lock and will work in the ignition but will not start the car. Evidently I am missing the imolizer chip. Do not see the chip inside old key fob. Is it expoxied inside the plastic housing?|
