"I bought my Lucerne Silver 3DR RAV4 new in 1997. I've installed an Alpine CDR 7832R head unit running a Soundstream amplifier. In the doors I have 5.25" Boston components and fitted tweeters on the covers of the wing mirrors. In the rear lives a 12 inch Boston sub. Externally, I have fitted stainless steel Cobra rear quarter bumper protectors and wheel arch extensions to house the wheels and tyres, which are Mania RVR's wearing Yokohama 801's sized 255/50/17. The engine has a new management chip, by Superchips and an intake is on order from the States. Being in England where tuning for RAV4's virtually doesn't exist, I had a custom stainless exhaust manufactured. Future plans are to replace the rear lamp clusters with clear ones, as with the front indicators. I shall also have a bonnet vent from the Celica GT4 fitted soon! I am very pleased with my car, I intend to keep it for as long as it will last!"
