Jay upgraded his 2001 RAV4 L in July, to a 2001 Super White Highlander Limited V6 with heated leather seats, JBL sound, ABS, traction and skid control, and automatic climate control. This upgrade solved all the problems Jay had with his RAV (rattles, groans, squeaks, hesitation, boomy radio) and maintained all the things he liked (people or cargo hauler, fun to drive, AWD). While not as beautiful as the RAV, he's grown to love the looks, and loves the power and smoothness of the V6 (the RAV's average mpg was 22, the Highlander's is 19-20), and the overall quality of the car.
