The Rav4 hybrid has moved to the top of list for my next vehicle. Looking good.

but I'm betting I travel on roads that are every bit as lovely as your mountain roads.

My wife just bought a 2018 bare bones this week. One of the pieces of information she got about the 2019s that caused her to pull the trigger was the additional 89 computers that are being added to the 2019s.

Not really a incentive for those of us who bounce our vehicles over washboard and knuckleheads on our "primitive gravel" roads.

Yes, they stuck in the lame "floating roof"...but just barely so it doesn't cheapen the look too much. This will likely be my next vehicle if Toyota keeps the pricing+options combination in line with competitors (e.g. doesn't make you get the top level trim for a basic option like power seats, etc).

P.S. The grill on the adventure trim looks the best. Hopefully the lower level trims get a similar grill instead of the cheese grater on the limited or the gaping maw on the "sport" version.
I know this is an old post but I had to laugh because cheese grater is the exact description my friend had used to describe the grill.

I ordered a 19 metallic gray adventure, mostly due to nicer front end (and not having to think cheese grater every time I walk up to the car).
