The thing is i did read the XM section in the navigation manual and it only addresses the setting of presets.
I thought i saw a delete option somewhere when i was presetting ZM stations.

Reread the whole radio section to look for preset information. Since fm and xm can have presets on the same screen more info may be in the general radio section.

i guess i dont understand what youre trying to do. Cant you tune in an FM station and then preset it in one of the old XM slots

greenpus: When i first preset 5 XM stations there were 5 FM stations already there. This is a brand new 2018 car. So i preset all 5 FM stations into 5 XM stations[that i do not want].Now i wan't to remove those 5 unwanted XM stations.

I dont need a lot of presets so i did this.
I went into setup and entered audio. Default presets is set to 36. I changed it to 6. Now only 6 presets show up which are configed for 1 FM and 5 XM. Now i dont have 30 empty presets lol And the old XM that showed up in preset 10 that i never used are gone. Number of presets increment in 6

Delete preset radio stations on 2017 Rav4

Hi All
I have found a way to remove all presets on AM/FM bands on my 2017 Rav4 - but it will also delete saved navigation addresses.

Leave your Rav4 running while doing this as the battery saver may turn the accessories off while deleting those stations and navigation destinations. This may not allow the deletion to proceed. This deletion does take a few minutes.

DO NOT remove the memory card for the map navigation.

Take pix of the stations and the nav address book to easily restore what you want.

Go to main menu on the display and choose Settings.
Go to General Information.
Choose Delete Information.
Accept the warning of deleted information.
Wait until prompted that reset is completed.

This worked very well but very few of the Sirius XM did remain for some reason.
Enter the stations you wish to hear.
Add the addresses you want to use for navigation.

Steve
