Unhappy Is jack included?

New owner of 2018 LE. Pretty basic version but I find the space for the jack next to the full size spare is empty. What’s up with that? Thanks in advance.

could the scissor jack be behind the right side panel, after opening the hatch?
Look around, there is a indentation in the plastic panel, (right side) pull on it and Voila!

Happily retired and doing nothing about it

That is not a full size spare...well mine didn't have one LOL. Also as mentioned the jack is in the side compartment.

Garage
A full size spare won't fit level, it raises the deck a several inches above normal, in fact a different deck cover is offered in other parts of the world to allow a full size spare.

FYI...The owner's manual is a pretty good resource for info, it behooves new owners to spend some time reading it.

Thanks for input. Apparently no side compartment on pax side and just an empty slot for jack so must have a really basic LE or someone got the scissor jack. Only one piece panel and it seems screwed in place.

The 2018 Owner's manual shows the jack just to the left of the spare.

Did you buy it used or new? If it was brand new call the dealer and see if they can grab you one. It may have gotten left out by accident. You shouldn't have to pay extra for the jack regardless of how basic the car is. If it was used then you are probably out of luck and will just have to buy one that will work.

Also did not find a jack from a previous 2013 XLE. Noticed this after I had winters installed by Costco. Costco was not cooperative at all. The dealer would not provided another either so I bought one since I do most of tire swaps myself. Too bad ... I believe it was stolen either from the dealer or from Costco. Lesson learned for me to always check before taking the vehicle home. Maybe get a used one.

This scared me, so I had to look. Mines there! Of course the spare doesn't do me any good. I need a full sized spare
