I want to get AA and Carplay, what are some good units to get? Any good videos for self install?

Go to Crutchfield and buy the best one you can afford. When it comes to electronics you get what you pay for. If you get all the harness adapters it's totally plug and play. There are videos on YouTube on how to remove the radio...look for them.

Yep, I did look up crutchfield and will probably get it there. I guess it'd be $499 for the head unit + $162 for the deluxe harness kit.

Oh, so after the upgrade, I will lose the energy screen, right? Looks like the deluxe kit comes with a new face cover without buttons...

I also found some youtube video of people upgrading their radio... wow, it's super simple... with the right connectors, of course.

I have a Kenwood for almost two yrs now in my Honda and could not be more happier with it, Apple Carplay is almost a must for me now. I think Pioneer though makes wireless Apple Carplay now though i'm not too sure on it.
