Sylvania ZEVO H16 LED bulbs:

https://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-ZEVO.../dp/B01M34ZQ1F

You can spend MUCH less on Amazon, but I did this very same conversion on my previous 2015 Corolla, and they looked and lasted just fine. A LOT of the cheaper ones on Amazon had plenty of good reviews, but also a good number of reviews like "weren't any brighter than the OEM bulbs," "didn't last more than a month," and so on. So, I figured I'd pay more and get something that I had some personal good experience with.

Oh, and my local shop charged me around 35 bucks to do the install, which took about half an hour. Well worth saving the aggravation of trying to get under the car and do it myself.

Wow, the bulbs look great and made a huge difference.

Are these bulbs plug and play or did you have to change the actual fog light fixtures as well?

Well, my shop did the work, but from my understanding, they are relatively "plug and play." They do have "ballasts" or whatever you might call them -- rectangular boxes with wires going between them and the bulbs. So, you have to deal with those, beyond just plugging the bulbs in. I haven't seen the actual work, but the installer said that he used zip ties to attach the "ballasts" to the car, to an extent that they won't be banging around. But, essentially, the bulbs go into the existing fixtures, and the wires plug into your existing wires. The difficulty is getting "in there" to install them -- with all of the underbody enclosures and such, even on a lift there's quite a bit more than just reaching up and plugging things in. And then there's stabilizing those "ballasts." Otherwise, it's not tough at all.

I find it really interesting to see that Toyota is still wanting to use an H16 base 19 watt halogen for the fog lights. Those bulbs are terrible and not very usable. I changed mine to LED and the performance is much better.
