That should wake up some people.
It does sound weak lol. Curious how complicated it would be to replace?

Easy a five minute job, looks like one 10mm bolt and easy to get at.

I'm really not a fan of those little toot toot horns. If you install it can you put a link to the Amazon page? And if I'm not asking for too much, a video of the horn in action? Like a sound test! 🙂

What about the connection? I assume it's a connector? Simply splice it with the new one?

I've already looked into adding a remote car starter. A local shop will be willing to do the work for 250$ish as soon as they get their wiring diagram. It will work with my OEM fob but will replace the horn button. I've never used that on any of my car so no problem replacing with it.

Even though, my Rav came with the OEM rubber mats, I will get a full set of WeatherTech and a cargo line for sure.

The speakers will get replaced as well sometime this year. Replacing all 4 speakers and tweeters with some decent speakers that i'll run through a 4 channel amp, so I can control everything the way I want. Not looking for a 1000w setup, just something that doesn't sound like a can.

I might do a full hood dampening if QuickDtoo end's up doing it with noticeable results.

Finally, since my LE didn't come with the factory fog light. I'll be looking into installing a set when you can find them on at the dealer. Did this with my previous suv, got the oem fog from the dealer, wired them the same way they come from the factory.

Quick question, for those that have the fog, are they activated by turning the arm on the steering column or there is a button next to the auto high beam control?
To answer your last question, I just took a look-see at the manual and the fog lamp switch is on the blinker shaft on the steering column. It's the second switch just to the inside of the headlight rotation switch.

Rav4 and most "horns" consist of two horns, a high note and a low note, that's the easy one, the other horn is behind the grill in front of the radiator not so easy, but I think easier than the 4.4.

Before you get the remote starter, make sure you dont have access already. I have an adventure and the remote start app is free for the first 2 years. The dealer sent me a link to toyota owners account that enabled me to set it up. It works great and can also be used for locking/unlocking car.

Pretty sure the remote connect is only free for 6 months after purchase (at least that's all I got with mine, in US), after that it's like $8/month.

Doubt I'll pay for it. My car spends most it's time parked in a garage, so for one, the remote start isn't as necessary to get car warmed up, and two, there's no cellular signal for the remote app to connect to when I'm in the garage, so it's pretty worthless for me.

EDIT: I'd still probably suggest testing this service out for remote start if you need it though...as after-market remote starters can be a pain to install and can lead to problems if installed incorrectly...so many electric components involved with today's cars... at least that's just my opinion.

The Remote Connect trial is only 6 months unlike the other connected services that are 3 years, after 6 month it costs $8 a month or $80 a year, see the Service pricing sheet which doesn't include the '19 Rav4 yet, but all Entune 3.0 vehicles have the same trial periods.

For remote connect to function properly both the vehicle and your cell phone must have an internet connection, my phone will connect to my vehicle with wifi or data, but I think the vehicle must connect with data which might be hard in a parking structure.
