Dealer programmable features?

There’s been some talk about features you could ask your dealer to enable or program from you (some may be done before you even receive the car).

Is there a list of them?

Notable ones I’ve heard of:
-Number of blinks for tapping the turn signal
-Pressing a certain combination on the fob to open all windows (what is the combination, by the way?)

My RAV4 is coming in the next couple weeks and I’d rather they get these things out of the way before I receive it...

The turn signal flasher blinks is the lane change operation, lever isn't moved up or down all the way to the lock position, 3 to 7 blinks are possible, default is 3.

Pressing and holding the wireless remote unlock button opens all windows and moonroof, releasing the unlock button will stop opening if you just want them partially open. Shown on page 686 in the manual.

Turn off the seat belt warning buzzer is an option if they'll do it, some dealers won't, mine did on my '15 Ltd, I've used Techstream since tho.

Changing the instrument panel liftgate(PBD) button operation from .8 second long press to 0 seconds is an option. There's also an option to do the same on the wireless remote PBD button, but then you have to unlock it first if it's locked, kind of a toss up there.

Turn signal flasher volume can be changed, I changed mine from medium to strong(loud) cuz I'm old and deaf and I despise seeing someone else driving down the road with their signal on for no reason other than they can't hear the flasher and it didn't cancel at last turn or whatever.

All else fails, read the manual, in the "customization" section.

Apparently, they have to program seat memory option, as posted on the other thread, some dealers forget to do this.
Anyone know why seat memory enable would be an option???

It's actually not an option, it just needs to be calibrated (you can do this at home).

I don't remember if this is exactly right, but I believe you want to put the seat all the way up, all the way back and all the way reclined, then hold set and hit 1. After this, you should be able to set the seat wherever, set to 1 or 2 and it'll hold.

Actually hadn't realized this was in the manual, and you're right! It's all there.

Perhaps I should not have used the word 'option'. The thread was about programming enables. The dealer can 'enable' the seat memory function. It should come from the dealer 'programmed' to do so. Sorry I used the word 'option' .
