Regular or Premium Gas?

Does it matter which gas I use (Regular, Mid, or Premium) for my 2019 Rav4 LE AWD? Long term?

Thanks!

Read the manual, regular gas is all that's required, premium fuel would be a waste of your money.

If you are worried about the "best", make sure your gas is Top Tier. Top Tier is the "best" you can put in regardless of octane. I only move up grades if there is a pining issue I am trying to circumvent.

To qualify for TOP TIER, an additive must contain about three times the EPA detergent requirement. Costco's Kirkland Signature Gasoline additive dosage is five times the requirement. I buy my gas at Costco since it's the lowest price around. I use my Costco Visa credit card which include 4% cash back on all gasoline purchases.

Well down my way, the best gas we can lay out hands on is Shell.
It's usually a couple of cents more expensive than other brands, but it seems to me that it is the best we can get.
Costco wants to open stations on the Island but the local Gasoline Owners Assoc. is pushing the local government to prohibit their opening down here. So much for free enterprise.
From what we have available down here, I'm convinced that Shell is the best.

Happily retired and doing nothing about it
