I’m reasonably certain we can put the acoustic glass debate to rest. It appears that all rav4’s have Lamisafe glass in the windshield, which is an industry standard for laminated safety glass.

It does not have acoustic glass or it would say so. Lamisafe does have SOME acoustic insulating properties, but pretty well every car has this or better so it’s not exactly a feature.

back to the vibrating mirrors. This would usually be indicative to a too thin sheet metal for the outer door skin, or a lack of support added to the outer door skin at the point that the mirrors bolt on to. Wonder if anyone can tell if the whole mirror vibrates or is it just the glass? If it's just the glass then the problem probably would be in the way the glass is attached?

I recall the 2001 Ford Escape had the same issue with vibrating mirrors. The originals were like paddles. The mirrors were revised for 2002 to be on a pedestal which fixed the issue.
My best guess is air turbulence caused the issue as the mirrors were mounted at the front of the driver's window, not on the door.

Just bear in mind that plenty of us are not having any vibrating mirror issues. For whatever that might be worth, but it's not a given that everyone has them.

That's kind of "part of the problem" with this forum and others like it. We certainly have people who scream that everybody needs to wait a year before they can get reliable cars, and that every car made so far has a whole host of problems, but that just isn't the case, in any way whatsoever. Yes, some folks are having some issues. But the vast majority of us are not having these issues, and by "us," I'm referring to the members of this forum who specifically have purchased 2019 RAV4 models. Then, bear in mind how each and every month, more than 30,000 people are buying these vehicles, and we're only hearing from something like one thousandth of one percent (or less!) of those new owners. Thus, the viewpoints expressed here can be astonishingly skewed.

It's not to say -- at all -- that some of these folks aren't having these problems. But, I like to add a certain amount of real-world perspective to some of the posts here, even at the risk of being labeled a "fanboy." In the end, I have been describing my experiences accurately, just trying to add onto the pile of other experiences we're discussing here.

You simply can't have real word perspective on online forum, not matter how popular it is. By that same logic most of the people out there in the real world *are* having similar issues, we would just never know it here. Left guessing regarding issues raised here one has try to filter out noise or minor issues, which are generally matter of personal preference, and perhaps look for feedback from alternative sources - well known Youtube reviewers for instance as well as CR. Here's CR's review I posted earlier and it's not favorable:

I do see some clear signs of 1st year model issues, which IMHO is understandable and expected. I'm passing on 2019 just to see how 2020 MY plays out.

The vibrating mirror issue appears to be mounting screws not tightened properly:
