Great "article"! Totally not an advertisement written by a Toyota dealer!

First picture I saw there was what looked like Adventure hauling trailer and that's supposed to be Hybrid related article. I figured there was no point checking out the rest if they couldn't get that detail right intentionally or not.

According to this, the RAV4 hybrid was the best selling Toyota hybrid in April 2019. This is incredible since they barely started rolling onto the lot in late March. They've sold about 6500 and they were probably supply limited.

I'm not sure what are you saying? 2019 RAV4 hybrid has 1750lb towing capacity in standard configuration and up to 3500lb if it has towing option (I think it has bigger radiator and some other tweaks).
There are few threats on this forum about people having hard time finding options they want and many have to wait for delivery for weeks and there is about $1000 premium on hybrid which is more than paid back within couple of years on gas savings and maintenance (from my experience break pads last 3-4 times as long on hybrid, but I have very heavy foot, so YDMV). Hybrid also have more horse power and better acceleration, so the blog OP pointed to is right on the money.

The Adventure/Trail is the only Rav4 that has the 3500lb tow rating in the US/Canada, all HVs in North Armerica are rated at 1750lb tow rating.

I was saying that to be taken seriously Adventure picture towing trailer shouldn't be at the top of Hybrid article.

The biggest plus for the Rav4H is the $800 increase. Most hybrid cars are thousands more, and you have to drive a lot to make up the thousands in gas savings. A mere $800 for a quieter engine, more power (not all around as you do have a limited battery) and a eCVT smooth trans is well worth it even if you didn't get 40+ mpg when driving conservative.

We were looking to replace a '14 AWD Santa Fe Sport. My wife did not want another Santa Fe sport even though we never had any problems with any Hyundai we owned. We did try the gas version, and as the reviewers state, it's noisy and it can't get out of it way on startup. We heard the hybrids were coming and on a whim test drove one a week later at a different dealer. She bought it off the lot. I have a Sonata hybrid for the past 2 1/2 years, got it new at a big leftover discount. I had a SUV and we no longer need two. At 44+ mpg we were loving it. Now she chose a hybrid, not for the hybrid but it was a nice quiet powerful car. The 40 mpg is just a bonus.
