Canadian RAV4 EV Limited vs USA RAV4 EV Limited

I have noticed quite a few differences in the USA and Canadian versions of the RAV4 EV vehicles. Thought I would list a few here as we have members from both sides of the border discussing options and prices. I have the Canadian RAV4 Hybrid Limited, so that is the one I am comparing here.

CANADIAN VERSION - 2019 RAV4 LIMITED HYBRID Blizzard Pearl
List Price: $42345.00 plus delivery, taxes, fees. (Canadian $)

There are no extra cost Option Packages available for the Canadian RAV4 EV Limited.

The following option packages available on USA RAV4 Limited Hybrid are included in the price of the Canadian RAV4 Limited RAV4 Hybrid:

1. Limited Grade Weather Package

2. Limited Grade Advanced Technology Package

3. Entune 3.0 Premium Audio with Navigation
(the Canadian Entune 3.0 Premium does not include the Remote Connect App/Features or the WiFi Connect App/Features)

Some features discussed in the Forum, Brochure and/or Owners Manual that I have been unable to locate or are not included in my RAV4:

1. RSA (Road Sign Assist)
2. WiFi Hotspot (not available on Canadian Version)
3. Sliding Centre Console
4. Driver Adjustable Variable Seat Cushion Length
5. Adaptive Headlights (not available on Canadian Version)

Have any Canadian members found any of my 5 missing items in their vehicles?

I'm in the US, have a Japanese Hybrid Limited. I'm not sure what you refer to with number 5. The seat powers forward and back but the seat back moves in conjunction with the horizontal portion. Mine works just as described on page 154 of the manual which is common to USA and Canada.

Garage
The same discussion on US vs Canadian differences has been had on the gas models, there are many discrepancies in the Canadian brochure that have been carried over from the 4th gen, sliding console and acoustic windshield are a couple. RSA is only available in the US, same for the wifi hotspot.

FYI, HV = Hybrid Vehicle, EV = Electric Vehicle.

US limited (HV/gas) has Panoramic Moonroof while Canadian limited (HV nor gas) do not.

In the US I just configured a limited hybrid without the Moonroof but with the adaptive headlights. I hold a quote for it from a dealer too.

Yes, you can't have both. Vehicles with the panoramic moonroof are from Japan, while those with adaptive headlights are made in Canada. However, Canadian models do not have adaptive headlights available either on any trim nor as an option.

That is so weird because Canadian dealers are only getting Canadian models, AFAIK, so you'd figure it would be available....

Makes me wonder if Toyota's adaptive headlights are not legally approved in Canada? Looks like Europe's intelligent headlights aren't. See https://www.theglobeandmail.com/glob...ticle17883553/

I thought the Rav4 adaptive headlights just level and pan left/right...that article is talking about ones that selectively block out sections of the beam to reduce glare for other vehicles.
