Flaws yes, better to me it is, the new one is Jeep esque I'll buy a Jeep if I wanted one... Oh and the last time I looked wheels and tires were round. I HATE squared or chiseled wheel wells HATE THEM (Chevy does that to the 1500 pickup YUCK!)
Not for all the same reasons, but I went for a leftover 2018 R4H as well. My main issue was with the changes to the cockpit. Every single one I noticed was in the wrong direction for me. Very happy with the 2018 I chose, even if it's an "evolutionary dead end", (as the reviewer called it.)

Owned 10 Toyotas, all white or silver.
Current stable:
2002 silver Tundra ('cuz you need yourself a truck.)
2005 silver Prius (200,000+ miles. Hers.)
2018 silver RAV4 Hybrid Limited ('nuf said.)
