The hole in my catalytic converter

So I was putting my new catalytic converter before we found out it wouldn't fit. The welding was terrible and it wouldn't line up with the holes for the bolts. My father and I decided to snake my old converter and found what was causing the code P0420 and P0430. There was a thumb size hole in it.

The reason for the hole is because my car was dumping raw fuel into the converter.

Awesome photos. Just had the same experience with my E46 BMW. Cats were so messed up, it would cause the car to go into limp mode and shut down at highway speeds. Only the Germans would make a car shut down unsafely with a bad cat.

Hey Noah, you could try 1 or 2 of these. Depending how strict the 'rules' are in your state. https://www.deaperformance.com.au/p/...FIX-CA/OSF1890

Should stop all Cat fault Codes.

I'm sure you can buy these in the US.
