Haven't posted here in a while.
Anyway, had these hyper flash-free (Basically has resistors built-in.) amber LED indicators installed at the end of of 2016. Originally bought two pairs of these LED COB Bulbs, just to find out that they were too long for the rear tail lights. Two years later, still as bright as day one. Other than it being too long for the rear turn indicators (6CM from memory.), the other con being that they start hyper flashing after 6 - 8 or so minutes (When there's a long wait at traffic lights, heavy traffic or when I pull over to the side.).
Fast forward to 2018, I recently found these bulbs which were 4.9CM long and would fit in the rear turn indicator housing (3D Printed a mock bulb in the same measurement as what I was going to purchase just to make sure it fits.). While not a COB LED bulb like the front pair, it was bright during the day/ extremely bright in darker conditions.
Brighter than the front indicators or the Philips Vision LED bulbs I'm using for the tail/ brake lights (Minutely brighter compared to regular incandescent bulbs.) & AliExpress COB LED bulb for the Third Brake Light (A good thing to be honest, especially with the number of distracted drivers in Australia nowadays!).
As with the front pair, these start hyper flashing after a couple of minutes of use. Have also bought a replacement LED Flasher Relay (Which should solve (Hopefully.) this issue.), but could not figure out where or how to get to the original flasher relay location.
LED on the Left, Incandescent on the Right.
LED on both sides.
Pretty bright in the dark.
PS: Apologies for the large images, couldn't figure out how to resize images to fit inside post.
EDIT:Just realized they would auto-size. All good.
