Suggestions for Spare Tire Cover to Cover Cracked Cover

First post and I don’t see this thread as discussed before: I am seeking suggestions on what size generic black vinyl cover I should buy online to cover my cracked, old silver tire cover on my 2005 Flint Mica Sport. I’d rather not replace, but cover the original cover.

Back story: I backed my car into a pole and cracked my tire cover (it saved my door). In addition, the hard portion has been separating from the vinyl for the last ten years and it’s secured with tape. They don’t make my model cover anymore and I want it to be an easy fix. The look of a cracked cover and tape really embarrasses me. Any help is appreciated. I can post a pic if necessary.

Try Amazon they have one for $98 but it is temporarily out of stock. I would paint it to match your car. In the mean time just take the cover off.

Options...

Your hard cover is probably FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic). You can fix that yourself by applying fiberglass repair (glass & resin) to the inside of the cover. An (auto or boat) upholstery shop could probably fix the vinyl part (that vinyl crap is exactly why I decided against buying a Sport).
If you decide to just cover the whole spare tire and cover thingy with a soft vinyl tire cover, measure the diameter and width (thickness) of your spare tire assembly and try to match that to the dimensions of the available soft covers.
