Okay, so that narrows it down, it's not the rims or offset and looking at your RAV4 I agree that your tires look about right, so it must be the springs. Maybe they aren't sagging too badly, maybe a previous owner lowered it? I'm just trying to figure out why those tires would scrape except at the rear of the wheel well on a lockup turn. My tires are a full 1.5" larger than yours and they don't rub at all at the front of the wheel well but they did very harshly at the rear.
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
