Next Project, Backup Lights, a Must

I've been concentrating efforts on installing light to light up the night. But now I've notice that backing up is a problem. I need a good set of backing up lights to see clearly. Solution, a good set of bright backup lights like these.

Where to place them? Looking around the net the RAV4.1 has the best place, here.

Three position switch. One OFF (but when I engage reverse, they come on), one ON for the joker who keep the high beams ON when following me. The third position is for the flashers to come on when the joker insists on keeping his high beams ON. When those go on, like in Texas, keep Smith & Wesson (full pack) close or Beretta, (one in the pipe, 14 in the clip)

Consider where you want the light. My headlights do a good job but sometimes I have to start a turn on faith and hope the road will be there when the headlights finally swing around.

When I installed my rear lights, they first pointed straight back. But after getting out in the dark I turned them to about 45 degrees so half the light went to the side and later moved them to about 60 degrees so most of the light goes out to the side. For backing around cars, rocks and big holes in the dark, they work great.
