Rav4explore Build

I have been a long time reader of this forum, and this post is quite overdue.

Below is the build thread of my 2001 Toyota RAV4 Limited 4wd. Please feel free to ask any questions and suggestions are always welcome. This build is just beginning, lots more to come.

Also, special thanks to @Commando for his patience in answering a multitude of questions throughout this build.

Suspension:
Front:
-Old Man Emu Medium Duty Front Lift Springs
-Tema 4x4 strut top spacers 30mm
-Sachs struts
-Camber adjustment bolts (four total, two per strut)
Rear:
-Old Man Emu Medium Duty Rear Lift Springs
-Old Man Emu Rear Shock Absorbers
-Tema 4x4 spacers 30mm

Wheels:
-Sparco Terra (Gray) 16” x 7”

Tires:
-Toyo Open Country AT2’s
-235/70-16
Grille:
-DIY mesh grille

Interior:
-4.2.5 Rav4 Updated Center Radio Trim
-All weather floor mats
-Off-road patches on the headliner

Lighting:
-Auxbeam LED headlights
-Calais JDM yellow fog lights
-JDM yellow fog light vinyl wrap
-6000k Interior Dome Lights
-Rigid D2 Dually Spot
-Rigid amber covers

Communications:
CB radio:
-Uniden PRO 520XL
-4ft black Firestik

-ARB CKMA12 Air Compressor

-Boulder Tools Tire Deflation Kit

2001 with 2.4 swap + RAV4.1 transmission (4.93 final drive ratio), RAV4.1 locking center differential, Lexus RX300 limited slip rear diff , Celica GT4 stage 1 SPEC clutch kit, 3" lift kit, Old Man Emu coil-springs, sway-bars delete and BFG MT KM2 235/70/16.

I have lots of pictures to post but it is telling me that I dont have enough posts for the permission.

I think about new shocks and the tema4x4 kit with 30mm.

Nice, I can't seem to find a write-up on the Rav4.2.5 radio trim change. Do you have a link for more details?

I swapped out my factory radio, 4-speakers, 2-tweeters and used a trim kit. Looks good. Also added a small 8 powered sub and placed it behind the rear passenger seat on the floor.
Forgive the wire mess in the back, have not finished trimming the slack after running the wires.

Hi @rav4explore - looks like a great build!

What did you end up doing for recovery points? Did you just stick with factory & have you used a snatch on them and all ok?

I'm trying to sort mine out before I take it on the beach and am not sure what I should do.
