Do you ever sit in the car at idle for no reason?
I was simply giving a heads up about a issue I had on a older vehicle that I wished I had prevent or at least held off longer by not abusing it mechanically.

Take from it what you will...

every car has issues. the more you use anything, the more it will wear. Simply put.
If there is a new thread posted about using wipers on a car, will you post a comment that says the more you use them, the more they will wear? Thats pretty much common sense. Next thing you are going to post is not to use the windows in a car because in your old car the windows broke because you THINK you used them too much. my rav is an 04 and the doors lock themselves when shifted into drive and there isnt a problem yet. The oldest car in my fleet is a 98 Corolla with almost 180k and the door locks have yet to fail because of using them too much.

Yea ...I was pretty much saying the more it gets used the faster it wears out. Some things you HAVE to use and some things are a minor luxury that can be babied. It is Common sense and mine tells me to treat this vehicle better than my last....not worse.

Use it or not ...a suggestion Have fun in the snow

Ordered, received, installed, and tested. Works like a charm!
My older Europian RAV4 had the autolock feature, don't know why it is not there for the US model.

I just ordered one, I am more concern about the reliability of the module itself or if by any chance the module can interfere with the car computer in a bad way? Anyway ordered! If anyone encounter any issues in the long run, please post here! thanks!

Has anyone installed one of these on a 2006 or 07 Rav4? I'm still wondering why the listing only specifies 2008-12 models.

Finally, it arrived.
1-9-2015 : paid
1-19-2015 : shipped
2-13-2015 : recievec

does it work? Yes, it does. Took wayy longer then expected.

Update:
Will NOT work on my matrix. I think it will work on 2nd gen matrix. '09+ model. 1st gen matrix doesn't have the technology like the '10 model.
