hi,, does n e one know what other Rims will fit the Rav 4 ,, mine is a '97,, dont know if thats the same as the other yrs,, wanted to take my alum one off for the winter and get a steel set,, just wondering want other vehicle rims will fit ??

Bolt pattern is 4 x 114.3 - it's a very common bolt pattern. I'm running 16x8 - I think an offset from a Grand Am.
Non-late model wranglers, other vehicles.

Tire size needs to stay near the same, there isn't much room.

5 X 114.3 maybe?

I found a place where it's possible to buy RAV-4 steel wheels (copy, probably)

http://shop.wheelsrims.net/inventory-20132.html

I plan to buy 4 for our 2010 SX4.
I tried RAV4 mag on it and it's the same size everywhere (bolt pattern, center bore, 16X6)

5x114.3 (aka 5x4.5)
Hub bore 60.1
stock wheel offset off ours was 42et (we have the OZ made in Italy 3 spokes)
16" x 7"

Recently switched out for 5 spoke ~02 Mustang GT wheels. Offset is a little lower so it sits more flush with the fender, wider too but no issues with rubbing or hitting the transmission. IIRC I'm running stock sized tires though. Got some $10 hub centric rings off ebay and we're golden.

Read on here Jeep wheels will fit too, but my research online told me some Jeeps (newer) have a different bolt pattern, so be mindful of that. Lot's of cars use that bolt pattern and have offsets that will work, craigslist and junkyards are good places to look.

Would 16X6 make a big difference on the 2 dr 4.1? I am keeping stock suspension setup (replacing soon, w/ KYB)... is there anything I should worry about with smaller rims? There's a set of 16X6 rims that came off of an Lexus RX300, in very good condition. Has anyone tried this? Thanks in advance.

5-100mm is the bolt circle for the Celica, Scion tC, and some Corollas, ours are actually the 5-114.3s, but most after market multi-fit wheels, you know the ones with 10 lug holes not just 5, are bored to fit both. Check either www.tirerack.com , or www.tires.com , both places have great deals on wheels for our Ravs.

racerb :D

My '96 Rav4 has 2003 Honda Accord EX alloys on it. No issues at all.
No kidding? I'd love to see some pictures. You can create an album on your profile page.

June Bug , not too talented with cameras / pictures and uploading ( I need my son to be a tech adviser )
but, my '96 is listed for sale with pictures on the " Private Party Classified " fourm .
Several pictures of my '96 with the '03 Accord V6 alloys. Bolted them on , no issues .
I upgraded the wife car ( the 03) and put these on my sons RAV.
I thought they looked more up to date than the stock alloys from the 96.
BTW I have the (4) stock 96 rims if anyone wants them

Those rims look pretty nice, except for that "H" in the center:

I'll have to post pictures soon of the wheels I installed today on my wifes 2009 black Rav4 Limited.
New Acura RSX wheels 17 X 7.5 ..5 x 114.3...+45 offset...Near perfect fit. Hyper Black / Gunmetal color. All I needed was adaptor Centering rings to fit the 64.1 Acura rims to the 60.1 Toyota set up.
I weighed both on my digital bath room scale.
Acura wheel = 22.6 #.....Toyota 6 spoke Limited wheel = 23.6 #
Only one small problem !!! These have an "A" in the middle. I'll need to find some Toyota center caps...........

This thread was over 2yrs old...
Looking at most of the threads on this forum, they seem to be over 2 years old... Not to be rude...

I have been reading bout 4.1 Ravs on this forum for a few months now and have thought about posting a few times but the threads are all so old. So I wasn't sure it was still relevant to ask a question or post my own experience of the topic. I'm sure there are several other members in the same situation. I don't think you should discourage other members from sharing their experiences with their Ravs, you should encourage them...

I think this thread should have many more pics/post, as other wheels that fit our Ravs are a great way to get a new look for our rides... I really like it when people put factory alloys from other model vehicles. It's way better than chrome rims.

I think the Honda rims look great as a replacement wheel, but I would change the H for a blank center cap or try modify a Toyota one to fit.

I have rims from a Gen3 Rav with All Terrain tyres and I recon it gives my Rav a good facelift...

I have thought bout getting some Toyota Kluger (Highlander in the states) 19's and seeing if they would fit our car. I also really like mazda CX9 20's and have seen other cars with them. They would be my ideal wheels for my Rav. I have seen a blue Rav with Ford Falcon rims before too...

Does anyone else care or is this forum dead???
