I've got some freshly squeezed snake oil I could sell you. Add 1 teaspoon in at your next oil change and it will help lubricate your engine even better with noticeable gains in mileage and horsepower guaranteed!
How much is the drum? We can use it to fry some chicken. >:D even some humans or even make a soup with the wires.

Seriously? ............. It's a total waste of time and effort. You only have to read the posts above to see that science has won through and hearsay is questioned. There is far too much mis information on the net these days and I believe it's important that forums like these don't give out bad info, what we need are facts, things that work with tested results - not just 'I think it feels better after this mod or that mod'.

Bob
Send me your address here so I can send them to you. >:D Maybe you can make a soup with them.

JUST IN!

I made a little investigation on you tube and asked a dude. This was his answer. BTW, to see his answer, you'll have to go to the page on You Tube. Looks like his car had these from directly Subaru. He made like an extension.

Ok, since I blow some $20.00. I guess you guys should be familiar with these so called miracle workers, don't touch them with a ten foot pole.

Yeah $20 for a wire with two ring terminals that you could make yourself for less than $1 in a couple minutes is a bit silly. Even the site selling it just says "benefits may include" instead of saying what it will actually do just to cover themselves from lawsuits.

Exactly. It is like the cosmetic industry saying "reduces the appearance of wrinkles" not "reduces wrinkles"

Like; "I call you about that" or "I'll let you know" but hay, no harm done. but they still are installed in my ride. So, WTF, I am not getting under it to remove them. At least they will hold on to the exhaust system. If some day it does get corroded and tries to fall off, I hope the 20.00 I spent on them will keep the exhaust pipes from dragging on the road. It's been installed since 2005.

Is it that bad out there?:)

Adding another voltage stabilizer (like the one that has kept your RAV going so long) in series with the muffler grounding rig will also provide wondrous benefits.

Sooo this is an exhaust system that has ALREADY been replaced, the oem is gone.
And how many miles were on it when oem sys was replaced?

It was pulled about the second year I had my RAV4. My dad has a "little garage" and I had one of his employes start from the header back. It was the time that muffler system was at a premium price. I really don't recall the company. But this is the picture. I finished it off, with a TRD muffler. After the TRD muffler really didn't add power. I removed it and installed the Magnaflow muffler with a different 2.25 inch pipe, performance CC, But man was it loud. I was very disappointed in a Cherry Bomb Muffler. It was busted up in about two years. Despite being wrapped with DEI. When I installed the Apexi NEO computer, I guess until I got to get it tuned correctly, The system was running lean, heating up the exhaust. The MSD-6A was a good install. But like always, the cheap guys from this forum, or better yet, the envious member of this forum were like always, bashing me saying it was over kill. Like always, everyone want to tell me what to do with my money. Eventually, I installed a new header about six month ago, a OBX, also with DEI wrap and it works well.

Yes gentlemen, it has been an adventure. I still have stuff in my garage, like a performance Oil Pump from TOGA Performance, a Zoom Clutch among others. BTW, for the envious people , I have pictures I can post if you doubt anything.. Yes, the Stainless Steel Brake lines are installed, great up grade and the.................................:D Oh, i have a Turbo sytem with inter cooler that I never installed.

BTW, I had all this documented with pictures. But I had a problem with Photobucket and I told them to suck my D...opps, I can't say that. But you guys get the idea. :smile So, lets see, blowing $20.00 for some muffler straps. Well, that was just a Fk up. :wink

Hold it right there Mr. Dyno. That really works. If you doubt it, just simply, buy yourself one and then see the benefits. If not, I'm not going to Bull **** you, and I've never have. If it works, great, if its bar clay (BuSt), I'll let it be known. I'm done here. >:D

You seem to be forgetting that Mensajero, refuses to dyno his car due to the fact that he says it "feels better" after he has added a new (and usually Pointless) mod. - the only way that Rav is any better for all those mods is due to the fact that Mensajeros wallet is ALOT lighter than it used to be.
The 4.1 forum on here does have some good guys/girls on here and some of you have really helped me out in the past with GOOD advise.

however some of the google search results that spring up from this segment of the Forum are laughable.

(and usually Pointless) mod. - .
Well, I do admit that some mods are pointless, like zombie_dave says.

EXCEPT, H&R Springs, H&R front and rear spacers pointless, Bilstien F&R Sport shocks, those are really pointless, also OBX Header, Magnaflow muffler, TRD muffler, DEI wrap from front to rear pointless, Performance catalytic converter also pointless, Angel Eyes pointless, TRD front anti-sway bar, TRD short shift that's pointless, UltraRacing suspension pointless, Engine and trans axle oil cooler pointless, Hella horns pointless, Carbon fiber hood pointless, Fiber glass front bumper...pointless, ground kit pointless, TRD top strut bar pointless, Helix Throttle body spacer pointless, Infinity speakers/Alpine AMP pointless. JVC DVD player pointless. Scan Gauge pointless, Apollo K&N Filter pointless, MSD 6A pointless, MSD Coil pointless, HID lights pointless, Rear Addco anti-sway bar pointless, Energy suspension bushings all around pointless, Stainless steel Stop Tech brake-lines pointless, Stop tech front slotted brake disc pointless, Pivot RAIZIN EARTH kit pointless, Apexi NEO Computer pointless, AEM Wide O2 sensor pointless, AMSOIL trans-axle lube pointless. Reading zombie_dave pointless assumption for a persona with just 15 post pointless.

One thing he is right though, NO Dyno, EEEE yes I did Dyno it. Son, you've haven't read enough.

The difference is, is that my 15 posts haven't been recommending people "ground their mufflers"
I think that's all that needs to be said!

If you read correctly young man, I was asking; "Grounding Muffler worth it?" I've been in this forum since day one, back in 1997. I've seen your kind come and go. Simple, if I'm wrong, OK, so why don't you post what your RAV4 has and give us some constructive criticism and advice. I know your RAV4 must be kicking. God save the Queen.

All you do is ask ridiculously stupid questions that you could find the answer for on Google - except if you google this site: because all its full of is your ridiculous ****. I've been in the toyota mr2 community for years (a much larger and much more respected community in terms of performance than the 3sfe scene) and given you advise in terms of your ridiculous questions. Like the 3vz-fe conversion etc.
I'd like to think if you are intelligent enough to take advise you would also be intelligent enough to admit that you are wrong (and a little blind) in terms of mods and money well spent.
Before you try and belittle me again do some acual, fact based research and stop filling this forum full of bull ****!

Ha ha ha...."God save the queen"....From what?...You guys need to tone it down or take a career in satire. BTW, What % of your rav4 is stock. Well, apart from the chassis. I have done a lot of "upgrades" too and I think it's like an addiction. But it looks good. To me that is. But one thing I haven't done is "ground strapping my exhaust". At Least not yet........lol....
