hi, did you install an OEM towing wiring. I am having problem finding the 1p connector in the junction connector location under the dash.
i have a 2012 sport v6. canadian version as well. thanks.

I just opened the access panel on the rear drivers side. 2012 Rav
What is this connector and is it factory?

from the picture, i believe you are looking at the rear brake lights. if you purchased the factory hitch wiring kit, it comes with a splitter to attach to this. after splitting, 1 goes to the hitch, another goes to the car's brake light.

this splitting only does the controlling of the light signals NOT for POWER.

This is an FAQ. That connector is for the electromagnetic clutch for the rear differential, which is part of the 4WD system. Since you obviously have a 2WD, the connector and wire are not used.
