The back windows are darker then the front from the factory but we tinted all so they’re very dark now. We did a 20% tiny all around. Very hard to see in all the back windows from outside and the two fronts are dark but not as much as the others. Keeps it much cooler in the summer too.

Very nice! I can't decide if I want to tint dark enough to match the rears, or stick with something a little lighter to avoid harassment from the local police. The limit here is 35%, so in order to stay legal, the darkest I could go would be 40%.

I just had mine done to match the rears. I don't know what the factory tint is, but they only added 15-17% to it. (I didn't ask which they settled on).
I'm just going to ask my tint shop what they recommend. I imagine it'd be between 20-30% to match the rears. I won't go any darker than that as I enjoy being able to see out of my windows at night.

You may want to consider tinting all around even if you don't need the rear tinted darker. From what I understand the rear is "privacy glass" so its not really tint so it doesn't have any tint advantages (glare, heat reduction, etc.). Even if you don't need it any darker, you might want to tint clear at least for heat and glare reduction on the rear. Privacy Glass from what I understand is merely colored glass.

Got my hybrid limited tinted this week. Went with XPEL Prime XR ceramic tint, 35% fronts and 70% rear and back. Originally, I was thinking of doing 20% in the fronts so that it closely matches the shade of the privacy glass. However, since the legal limit is 35%, I decided to stick with 35% for the front so I don't get any problems. I had 35% done in my old car so I was comfortable with how it looks. I didn't really want the windows to be that much darker than the privacy glass, which is the reason to only go with 70% for the back just for the UV protection.

Looks great! I was thinking of doing 35% in the fronts also. Thanks for sharing.

I had my front two windows tinted with LLumar film. From the outside they match perfectly. However, on the inside they are much greener than the back. Anyone else notice a big difference on the inside?

I have Llumar ceramic on my two cars and I don't notice that.

What % did you go with so that the front and rear matched?

No problem. The first photo looks a bit deceiving because the sun was shining directly on the car from the angle where I took the photo. So the front windows came out darker than what it looked in real life. The second photo from the opposite angle gives a better indication.

If I’m reading this right, the rear windows on the XSE HYBRID trim is factory “20% privacy window (let’s call it fake tint)” so folks are STILL tinting 20% all around?
I did 30% front 2, 50% windshield 6 inch tint, and I’m going to do 15% next week on the rears.

Wouldn’t doing 15% on the rears make it virtually black?!?
