I have magnetic gray too and can't stand that silver part. Might have to do this mod with plasti dip because it's less hassle

I might be doing the same. Hoping to paint the exhaust pipes black this weekend if the weather cooperates. Already used plasti dip on all the emblems.

I don't know how good the OEM color matched wraps are, but the links in post #3 would be worth researching for anyone interested. Personally I don't care for the faux silver panels the 4th and 5th gens have, they cheapen the appearance IMO.

Found a local shop that will wrap the silver panels (under front/back bumpers), trunk trim, and the chrome trim over the doors for $400.

The metallic black that they have was very close, but not exact. I could tell the difference. So I am going with glossy black since it will match the trim around the XSE.

Will post pics once done. Hopefully the first week in July.
