So... did this move to another thread or is there no update from 1159 to the 1211 for the 17TDT1NA-CA02 models?

Mine lost all apps, navigation, and now I'm getting an Entune download error every time I use the vehicle. The dealership is useless. They did a TSB update for Panasonic head units, and told me to turn off auto-updates. Neither of those things worked, by the way. Clearing the personalized data so it doesn't connect to my phone seems to prevent the error message, but that's not a reasonable solution.

A few things, I don't think you could get navigation with an XLE in 2019 but could be wrong. Not sure about the audio plus, but the JBL system is not Panasonic. Regardless at the end of the day you need a new dealer and perhaps a call to Toyota USA.. This is not the issue but deo delete Entune from your phone it does nothing but add problems.

The only nav on an XLE would be Scout GPS app or nav phone app using Carplay like Waze, there's no native nav.

Last year when I have an oil change at my Toyota dealer, I requested them to update my XSE Denso-Ten head unit software (17TDT1NA-CA02) to 1211 but all they did was pressing the update button on my head unit and said there was no update for it 😛

Good Day All,

I have firmware 17TDT1JP-CA31 -1416 on my rav4 2022 Adventure model, right hand drive (RHD) will basic audio system.
This vehicle was brought from Japan directly and being used in the western hemisphere closer to South America.
I was enable to change the language on the head unit and instrument display panel to English.
But I am unable to switch the radio frequency bandwidth to pick most or all of the South Western Hemisphere radio frequencies.

My last resort is using a FM radio band extended which I really do not wish to do.

I was wondering if there is a firmware I can install on the head unit that can allow the radio band width to pick up radio frequencies for South Western hemisphere and allow of all other functions of the head unit and vehicle to work as attended.



Are there firmware like: 17TDT1LA-CA31 or 17TDT1NA-CA31.



I am unable to find them on Home | Toyota Software.

The firmware on the site you listed is only for the United States. Toyota uses different manufactures of head units for different areas of the world. Your best option is to visit a local dealer and ask for a firmware update as you have a 2022 and should be eligible.

Hi Variman, The local dealership is reluctant to assist, because I did not make the purchase locally. Main reason I did not purchase the vehicle from our local dealership is because they do not offer awd rav4s and their fully loaded vehicles differ by regions.
