I was just checking out the vertical fog lights on Prime and from the looks of it the whole assembly it may even fit RAV4 2019/2020 that already has fog lights quite easily.
Is it just me or doesn't visually looking at it seems like it could be just a matter of purchasing the OEM Assembly and replace? This might be wishful thinking but imagine for now we could? I guess it would be only a few months more to get the replacement parts specs posted somewhere! I would rather do this when my current halogen needs replacing, The straight lines is visually striking and goes so much better with the Ravs lines right?

I doubt it.. it really looks like a completely different front bumper molding.... the Prime foglight areas look to be far less wide.. Granted, it may be possible to trim either the non-Prime bumper and or the Prime foglight assembly plastics to make it "work" but probably wouldn't end up looking super clean. I also heard in a video review that the Prime has different headlights with more black inside them to look sportier but I don't really see that... I think it's just the lighting that makes them look darker indoors from these photos.

Edit: Correction, the Prime does have completely new headlights, I just compared mine (Limited trim) to the Prime's and they have some different styling elements..

After comparing these images, it actually does look like the fogs may work?

Thanks fo r posting these pics! Yaa, it just may work right! I don't think they would change the sheetmetal (ahem plastic) to incorporate new fog lights, seeing that they have invested so much in the global platform. Seeing the other posters changing the halogen to LED it looks like a quick job. However, the black inserts around the light housing a problem would be if they changed the attachment clips at the back because of how the vertical lights are designed...

that doesn't even look like it's a foglight. The prime looks like it may be just another day time running light. Can't tell if there's a circular small fog light in the black area next to the white vertical day time running light (what i'm thinking that light is), but it does look like it's a direct replacement...you'd probably just need to buy the bezel/light combo.

Those vertical lights on the RAV4 Prime are 'driving' lights/'accent' lights, not fog lights. You might be wondering why the fog lights have been eliminated, but research shows fog lights in general are of very limited use, and can be counter-productive when used all of the time in conjuction with low-beam headlights.

Very interesting indeed..I guess a fresh appearance is what it's all about then! Quickdtoo pic above shows fog lights below the lower fascia however. Would never have noticed that if he didn't point it out. Maybe its a little like facemasks, just using it makes us feel more protected even though studies and using it properly is another thing..

Cool! Adaptive Front Lighting System. I did not know USA's rules allowed them here.
Adaptive headlights have been available on Canadian built Limited HVs since MY2019, possibly only in some US regions tho as has been posted by some members, I've seen them listed on '19 Limited HVs at dealers here.

Automatic leveling and swiveling is okay. High beams with adaptive low points to not blind oncoming traffic are not. Low beam patterns that do not match DOT regulations (FMVSS 108 specifically, which is mutually exclusive with the European ECE-R48) are not.

Note that the FMVSS/ECE exclusivity applies specifically to projector headlamp cutoffs; it’s possible albeit expensive and complicated to make a reflector headlamp that’s compatible with both, and if you really wanted to you could have a pair of cutoffs that you select one or the other in a projector, but that’s even more expensive and complicated.

Those 3rd party running lights are nice. Looks like they can be installed while keeping the stock fog lights?
Yes they can. I installed these a year ago and really liked them but unfortunately after a couple weeks one side died and the seller left me hanging so beware but you may have better luck than I did 😔

I'm back to the OEM housing with a simple led bulb replacement.

I just purchased OEM Fog light Trim pieces for my @2022 RAV4 XSE, I am going to pull out the vertical DRL and add Baja Design Squadron Sprite fogs, hope the bezel fits
BD should have lists in next week (8-29-22) once I grab Ill post pics of install
crossing fingers the bezels will fit my XSE..
