What a difference. The color really pops now.
Yes, but you're putting 15% on top of the rear window that is already at 20%. That's going to be pretty dark looking out, especially at night. You need to keep in mind looking into a car is one thing and looking from the inside out is completely another. 15% looking in from the outside is pretty dark but not entirely dark. Typically limos have 5%
Hello, So I got the front driver and front passenger tinted just over a week ago (35%). At first I was like, wow, the fronts are darker than the back. But as the week progressed, the front got lighter. So I just chock it up to the curing process. The back is now just slightly darker looking from inside out. From outside in, I can barely tell the front is lighter.I had my front two windows tinted with LLumar film. From the outside they match perfectly. However, on the inside they are much greener than the back. Anyone else notice a big difference on the inside?
15% on top of the factory 20% will give a total light transmittance of 3%. Darker than limo black. You need to keep in mind looking into a car is one thing and looking from the inside out is completely another. 15% looking in from the outside is pretty dark but not entirely dark. As soon as I take delivery next month, I plan on tinting as one of the first mods. I’m planning on just asking the tint vendor for some scraps of tints and tape them to the windows to see what they look like under various lighting conditions. I don’t want too dark at night. So I guess to blend in the front windows with the rear privacy windows would be 35% for the fronts?
Hey! How’s the tint holding up? I’m thinking of doing 20% all the way around on top of the factory and was wondering if yours has been difficult to see out of at nightWhat a difference. The color really pops now.
