Hello everyone! Tried searching the web and wouldn’t you know it- there’s NOTHING concrete on this online! But so far no one has said it’s a scam... so I’m inclined to add it to my RAV4 in a week. Anyone have any real experience saying it’s a horrible idea? Note: I will get a ceramic coating later in its life... the Xzilon price is much better at the dealer than a ceramic coating later..

My father-in-law was a finance manager at car dealerships for about a decade. He would bring home this special, single-application paint sealant in very industrial-looking gallon jugs. No kidding, you'd put it on once and water was still beading several years later--it really is a good product.

However, he said the jugs cost the dealer about $60/bottle, and by my observation might treat 7-8 vehicles. But they would charge customers $1800 for the single treatment as a new-purchase add-on.

Bottom line: there are probably lots of worthwhile products out there, but none of them will be of good value purchased through an auto dealer.

Turtle wax best bang for your buck! I just used their Super Hard Shell Liquid Car Wax $4 and ICE Seal N Shine $9 on my 2005 tacoma results were amazing just as good as the expensive stuff. Good link below for research read forums and try different products. I may give Bead Maker or Griot's Garage 3 in 1 Ceramic a try next. Professional ceramic coating its more of the yearly up keeping for warranty thats where they get you.
