Just curious how many miles everyone has and if you've had problems during that time.
Me---New owner, 278 miles, 5 days no concerns as of yet but so far I love it. It rides like my old Highlander and has pretty good "get up and go". Averaging 33.8 MPG in mixed driving but I do drive on the HWY around 80-85 MPH.

Waiting for delivery of my R4Prime.

Still own a Gen2 Prius (2004-2009), which has been bullet proof so far. No issues other than routine maintenance, and normal wear tear. Still original brakes W/ 160k miles!

If you drove slower of fwy, say 75tops, your overall MPG will likely increase, maybe closer to 40MPG overall.

2019 XLE Rav 4 hybrid White with charcoal interior

10.800 miles.

Runs great no issues

Had the fuel tank replaced. Was not a big deal but they offered to replace to make the fuel read more accurately.

37 mpg in the winter 43 mpg in the warm months.

14k. '19 Limited with 3 packages. One recall update. One Customer Satisfaction update. Does what I bought it to do. Too darn much power and I find myself using it thus the MPG is less than EPA but not by much. 4th straight Toyota, third hybrid.

Almost 13K miles. Had the gas tank replaced, works fine now. I also had the roof rails leak. Otherwise everything is good. Car is smooth, fast, and comfortable. Only one rattle that I hear from time to time under steering column around 55 MPH. While I like the car, I would look at a Highlander if I had it to do all over again due to the sub par hardware. But that is probably with all less than $30K base price cars.

16,000 miles.
Fuel tank replaced.
Problems with remote connect app not connecting for first 8 months.
I have the mirror vibration issue but not as bad as some report. I will get this done at some point.
OEM driver side floor liner was drooping and had to be replaced.

What was your issue with the gas tank that caused it to be replaced? Thank you.

What was wrong with the fuel tank?
There's a recall where the tank would only fill to 12 gallons instead of 14.5 and show mules to empty about 100 miles left. I don't know all the details as I've read many different "causes". But it's since been fixed.

20 k miles and second oil change. No issues other than the fuel tank replaced under the customer satisfaction program. Only freak thing that happened around 3k miles. On a long trip the cruise control dropped out and I could not engage it again until I stopped at a nearby rest area jigged wires under the dash near the brake peddle and restarted the car. Cabin road noise and the inability to read the media screen in direct sunlight are my biggest disappointments.

However this Rav4 accumulated 10k miles last year were my Lexus ES 350 just added 400 miles which shows which car we like to drive.

Many 2019,2020 hybrids would only fill to about 9 gallons of fuel. Toyota fixed the issue and now most now will fill to almost 12 gallons from empty. The tank is a 14.5 gallon tank so 12 gallon fill + 2.5 gallon reserve, roughly.

I'm a newbie here as well, tomorrow will be 1 week. I've put over 500 miles on it, average is 42.4 mpg with combined suburban/hwy driving. Had it out on a dirt road once, handled well. I've tried it in all three modes (Eco, Normal, and Sport) and I see advantages to all three, though for the most part I've stayed in Eco. Haven't filled it up yet (did put in 3.5 gals when I first got it home), will do that this weekend.

Thus far I like it, though I do miss the fog lights. Didn't use them for fog much, but they do a good job of lighting up the sides of the road where the deer like to jump out from.

Couldn’t fill it completely full? Or the reserve was about 4-5 gallons? Probably both? Either way it is a clearly documented problem on this forum with most 2019-20 hybrid models. Toyota took a while to identify and figure out a fix, but honestly once you knew all that fuel was there just not showing on the gauge it was manageable?

I checked with the NHTSA website, there is no gas tank recall for my 2019 hybrid. I take it this wasn't a problem with the (cheap) LE model?

59,000 miles:
  • Coolant pump went out at 58,800 miles; fixed under 5yr/60k powertrain warranty
  • Fuel tank issue (not fixed...because I don't think the "fix" fixes the problem).
  • Seems to eat tires despite alignment being frequently checked

But, overall, a fantastic vehicle. I'm still getting better than EPA on MPGs...barely.
