I recently had to buy a new iPhone because my old one broke. My old iPhone X was paired with the RAV4 by the salesman when I bought it. Howeve, I can’t seem to pair my new iPhone 13 with the car. Tried to look it up in the owners manual but couldn’t find directions anywhere.

I use my phone a lot on Apple Car Play, particularly for navigation and music, so I’d like to resolve the issue.

It should be just hook it up with the USB cable since the RAV doesn't have wireless CarPlay. On your iPhone, best place to check is Settings>General>CarPlay. If you are using an aftermarket USB cable to plug into the RAV, try using an Apple brand USB-A to Lightning cable.

Thanks. I checked my iPhone settings and it’s supposedly linked to my RAV4. I plug it into my RAV4 using a short aftermarket cable that doesn’t get tangled and never had problems with it using my old phone.
