Anyone have any luck finding a leather key fob case that fits a 2021/2022 Rav4 Prime key fob?

Thanks
Hi- tell us a little about your Prime so we know you’re an actual owner and not just trying to sell Key fob cases like the last 3 accounts that were nuked in the last couple of months.

If you’re legit welcome. But something doesn’t feel right here.

This holds my iPhone Max with case, the Toyota key fob with house keys attached and my drivers license and credit cards. It clips on a belt if you like, I think it's incredibly well constructed and has magnetic flap (no velcro). Very happy with it.

Looks nicely made but if I used that I couldn’t keep my pants up. 😃

I'm a new rav4 prime user my R4P is on the truck to the dealer and arriving next week hence why I'm looking to get all the things ready for her when she arrives. Really people make fake accounts ?

Ya looks like it's functional but I doubt my wife wants to wear that around with her lol

Thanks though I'm sure others might get uses for it

I replied above but yes I'm a new rav4 prime soon to be owner as my wife and I are awaiting the truck to drop off our r4p xse pp magnetic gray to the dealer.

Oh yeah the people selling these holders have shown up several times in the last few months trying to generate buzz under fake accounts. Still a good chance this thread will get nuked. Mods have tools i don’t have.

I know the key fob for the Prime is different, but I bought the black and brown version from Amazon (see below) and the quality is great. You might do some research for this company and see if they have a newer version for the Prime. Yes, they are leather and smell great

Hopefully get some good options then before that happens I really just want to protect the finish on the new fobs 😰

Bought https://www.amazon.com/Tukellen-Special-Protector-Compatible-Fortuner/dp/B08QYTS84N/ref=sr_1_36?crid=35C10W2WRIB5B&dchild=1&keywords=toyota+rav4+prime+key+fob+cover&qid=1615209882&sprefix=toyota+rav4+prime,aps,207&sr=8-36 this for my wife and while it’s nice, it makes the keyfob more bulky. I don’t like carrying things or these keyfobs buldging in my pocket. I’m due for service soon and I’m havingthe dealer try programming a lexus credit card key. Toyota now requires a seed code on techstream or I would have done it already.

This one is not leather, nor is it actually gray, (it more more a purple-ish color) but it is the one I am using. I need to trim the leather portion as it is a bit too long. I like the quick release to remove other keys from the FOB.

did you find that it had difficulty sensing the fob after the case was on it? Some of the reviews said the range of the fob was reduced with the case.

I think she'd probably carry it in the purse so it wouldn't be too bulky for her. I'd only be using the R4P when I would need the range the R4P offers as we have another EV vehicle also.

Maybe, but I generally unlock by grabbing the door handle and lock by pressing the section on the door handle to lock the doors. I may have had to hold against my chin when I was further away, in the case where I am not sure if I locked it, which always seems to amplify the signal. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you on this one.

It does add a bit of bulk to the FOB. And the screws are TINY! Thankfully they included extra as I ended up dropping one and not finding it in the carpet. I ordered two, one for each FOB.

If you ever need to actually use the key inside the FOB, it does need to be taken apart, which will be a PITA!

On another note, I stayed away from the silicone ones since I wanted to be able to slip the covered fob into my pocket. I figured the silicone would be too "sticky" of a surface to do that without having problems.

Yes they are lint magnets too. The TPU style with the clear window is much better. It's a smooth plastic feel.
