Hi All. When you brought home your new Rav4 where did you find the wheel lug nut lock key? I picked up my Rav today and for the life of me can't find the key in the car. Thanks

I don't recall -could have been on the floor of the rear seats or the cargo area.
See if your local shop put it in the spare tire areas. It came in small plastic ziploc type bag about 3"x4" along with the card to order a replacement.
Next step is to talk to the actual humans who prepared your vehicle -it's possible they do the same thing to each vehicle for their standard prep and can quickly answer it vs guesses.

Just an FYI, McGard makes the locking lug nuts for Toyota which is a good thing.
Mine didn't come with them installed but I had them thrown in on the deal. I picked them up later and installed them myself. From the package I was able to register them with McGard online and ordered an extra key and a pouch with an elastic sleeve to slide onto the lug wrench. This way I can keep one in the car and one in the garage so I don't need to dig out the one in the car and just have an extra key.
I also don't trust the dealer to handle the locking lug nut correctly so I put the original lug nuts on before I take the RAV4 in for its tire rotation.

Haha you got that right. A dealer once lost my key years ago too.

Found mine in trunk attached to lug wrench.
