Well, that's interesting. Ottocast specific excludes the 2019 RAV4 for their CarPlay box. I think they are confused about 2019 not having AA:

But their compatibility sheet says otherwise:

I think they just added this! Because of my issue!

First time poster….. have a 2019 RAV4 XLE Premium and have been using this:

CarPlay only.
Boots up quickly and works seamlessly with my iPhone.

Has any found an adapter that works well, without issues on their rav4? I tried Ottocast but had compatibility issues. The sound kept dropping out. The Carlinkit, has a ton of bad reviews. Most saying it just died! Help!!!!
I have had the 3.0 or 2.0 version of the Carlink for 10 months and no issues. Occasionally it’s a bit slow to connect (+15secs) but other than that, works fine! Bought on Amazon. Was actually purchased a few days before I took ownership of vehicle.

I'm using the Motorola Model MA1 wireless for Android in 2022 Rav. It connects very fast whenever you bring the phone inside. Problems after receiving a phone call the maps or music don't restart so have to go through the source button and select Android again. Toyota should have kept the NAV system internal.

I have had the Ottocast for 5 months. most of the time it works fine, I had to reinstall it once after an iOS update. once a month or so it may fail to connect, but usually the next time I start to car it works. about 1.5 to 2 second delay for the controls to react, that is about par for the course.
